Pics of Comptech Springs & Sways, and a little Klasse :)

We got a little glimmer of sunlight so I rushed out to get some pics. I wish there was more, but it will have to do

Friday I headed down to Park Ave to get Comptech Springs & Sways installed. Wow...

If anyone is considering Comptech Springs and Sways, Go Get Them! You'll love your ride soo much more! I picked up a friend without telling him about the mods and within seconds he said, "What happened to your body roll???" Haha, It was great!

Please excuse the mess surrounding, haven't cleaned up yet :o

Just a little gathering of Park Ave goodies and my old sways & springs:

Hehe, yup

Dealers around me didn't want anything to do with installing the parts, infact they refused to do the work. I wanted to get them installed at an authorized dealership and I had heard good things about Park Ave, so I took a day off and made a trip out of it

It took about four hours to get there, I love to drive so that was nothing for me

To me it was well worth it, I love the new look, the drive quality, and the quality of service from Park Ave. They were great!

i honestly think only people on this forum would notice that...no one actually looks at your mud guards except for car enteusiasts. BUT, i do agree.

ok i have to say it. if you plan on getting the kits, get the mud guards off right now! the mud guards leave some quite DEEP scratches on your car!!!!!! yes i have confirmed it with couple of people including myself....... i have two scratches by the front mud guards....... take a look at it!

rominl: Thanx for heads up about mud flaps, are they hard to remove? I haven't poked my head down to check them out.

CarFreak: Thanx. Klasse is good stuff, the digital camera I used was my roommates old camera and it doesn't quite do justice to the shine. Also, I have noticed that I haven't gotten a single new chip because of rocks since I started using Klasse. May just be luck but it seems to help.

it's not that hard, if i remember right 3 screws for each mud guards, front and back. you probably can get them out without taking out the wheels but it would be easier.

you can read my formal thread about the issue in the type s forum. at least two more victims there. for me the clear coat is gone, and the body is like being sanded. haven't seen the metal yet.

Hmm.. Don't think so. I tore up Rt 9 around Newton, 1A in Dedham and VFW on my way home testing out the new sways&springs But that wasn't until about 6pm.

Did the car have Maine plates? I'm pretty sure I'm the only one around these parts with Maine plates.

I got my Klasse from http://www.properautocare.com Very easy to apply. Pick up some detail spray also, that helps getting it on a little easier instead of using water on your applicator pads, use a mist of detail spray (I use Eagle One Wet). The ease of use was one reason I chose Klasse over Zaino. Too many numbers/products with Zaino

There is an All-In-One, and a Sealant to apply. It comes with good instructions.

Enjoy!
