if it wasn't for the rarity of the value kit and mugen grill i would be trying to trade my front end for a 99-01 front end. but of course keep my engine and everything else.

perfect combination if you ask me.

maybe i'll try doing it down the road...

all the parts can be bought for around 1500 from dealer.. 1000 if you buy elsewhere.

add in paint cost and your done.

I think the Front plate on the White TL was screwing up its whole imagine, and the 99 TL looks good no dout about it but you will need that jdm bumper to make it look that good, but to me the 02-03 looks more aggressive, which I tend to like.

I personally love the 99-01 front ends, not because I have it but it's just sleek and simple.

The 02-03 has big headlights, nice style for luxury but def needs a lipkit to be decent.

But who am I to talk? I don't have anything on my exterior.

Yea but 02-03 can do retro fit projectors and the 99-01 wouldnt look as good. thats what i am doing right now. But IMO i dont like the 99-01 fronts

with all else equal, the 99-01 front end is better. So much more sleek, subtle, discreet, and understated... OG. All you have to do is find the right bumper and grill combination and you're set.

I still have yet to see my ideal grill,bumper,headlights combination for the facelifted tl....

im a fan of the value front.. sides and rear can stay OEM...
why are those things so hard to find... they'ed sell the shit out of those, even for 5 or 600 each!?

^^ i dont think the rear is that great either.. too big and plain, but then again, anything else would make the rear worse. ((besides lip kits))

I think they're pretty hot myself. Looks good on his. Maybe not so much chrome but polish or even another color with polish lip would be danger.

I am not going to call out on you. Everyone has different style and taste. I honestly think those look real nice and goes pretty well with the car. Not perfect, but very close.
