I'm thinking about doing this very soon except in blue. What kind of paint did you use and what did you have to do before you painted?

P.S. It is going to look really good once you get new wheels on your car.

used a duplicolor spray paint can that costed 7 dollars at pep boys. used a wirebrush to get all the junk off, then taped and sprayed 3 applications.

Did you you high-heat paint?? I hope you did. It will look 10x better with wheels

Duplicolor caliper paint is rated 600 degrees- thats plenty for calipers since your brake fluid will boil before then and leave you in the trees
They make a brush on type of caliper paint too, comes with tape, sandpaper, spray cleaner, and the paint and brush 10 bucks
I prefer black calipers for the fake brembo look

agree, a nice coat of black always looks alot nicer then fake brembos/rotora bbks

Very cool. I have been thinking about doing this on my TL too, not sure yet to go with red or black but I might end up going with black...

X2, I did the same thing, but planning to redo them but more with a gloss look.
