Nineteen minus two equals

...back to 17's

Decided to put the Servos back on today after some rough battles with the 19" tires on the Legends. Take a look at this tire I had...That's some uncommon wear on the inside of the tire. lol

dont get me wrong... I LOVED THE 19" LEGENDS, but 19's just are a little too big for me. I would Love to have some 18's in the future (maybe something like 02type-s has). Some of the reasons I wanted to get rid of the 19's were gas mileage, crying after pot holes, and the price of 19" tires.

I just got engaged and am starting grad school next month, so money is being spent elsewhere right now. Sorry for the dirty car pics.

I actually liked the Servos better but what's up with the tire wear? I see that you have a camber kit so shouldn't that have fixed your issue?

Yea...I like the Servos also. The tire wear was from that tire having a leak i think. It kept losing air...I think thats what caused the weird "bubbles"

just saying, but that choppiness is normally due to either weak shocks or lack of rotations (and the softer a tire is, the more important rotations and such are)

also maybe being slightly underinflated for a while also, noit enough to cause any immediate damage, but more long term

let alone 17's riding alot better also, and you complaining of potholes in florida LMFAO, many more potholes here in colorado

as far as price, iirc you are looking at something like $40 more per tire then 17's, which with 4, is $160 so it does add up

Yea, it was probably from the leak. Definitely not the shocks. My Function and Forms have about 7k miles on them

can still blow out by then, but not a very high chance though

but also as you said it kept losing air, it might have been a defective tire from the start, and once those chunks start, it's impossible to stop them from spreading eventually

lol, but if not assembled correctly or installed incorrectly (mainly spinning the shaft unnecessary), can cause issues, or just plain old defective parts

also if you put too stiff of springs , it can also take them out too (or too many bumps too fast, such as a dirt road; which can litially overheat them; why do you think performance off-roads shocks so often have those externial reservoirs)

Sorry to see the Legends go! They looked great on your ride. The Servos are a nice replacement though

Congrats on the engagement!

Thanks!

I didn't let the Legends go for good, haha. They are in my garage, I'm not sure if I'm going to sell them or not yet.

Selling just the wheels? You paid $345 each new right? So that's $1380 total. I would start at $800-900 and see what people say
