Well I finally got my car fixed.... and got the body shop to add a little something extra (lagniappe)

I really think that the new tails make the car look a whole lot nicer compared to my old ones.







btw does anyone notice something wrong/different about the car?

 

thsoe tails seem to stand out 100 times more than the 01 tails... always a good thing..
is the wrong/different thing the 3.2 on the left side of the trunk?

I didnt say anything to the guy this morning about where he put the emblem, b/c I am planning on taking it off anyways...

but it does make the car unique...

now i have to find out my damn radio code , because of them disconnecting the battery for a long period of time

 

I was in an accident recently, so I just told the bodyshop to order the new 02 lights (oem) instead of the older ones. Both sets of tails were the same price so all I had to do was get the new wiring harness.

debadge that bitch... It does look five times better than the yellow stock ones...

 

I just got back from autozone... and bought some sylvania turn signals.

They are a blue color when off, but turn a semi-dark shade of orange when on (there is also some greenish tint if you look from different angles)

I think it will look better when I clear the lights.





... for those of you who wanted to know what the sylvania bulbs were like...

yeah i noticed the 3.2TL on the left side too. but debadging it is the way to go IMO, it brings perfect balance to the rear end's of our cars

 

so, are the bulbs and wiring harnesses different for the 99-01 tails?? you mention having to buy the new harnesses.

Also, does anyone know if there is any difference in the Acura lamps vs. the ones on Ebay (I think they are DEPO)??

 

yea the wiring harnesses are different because on the knew ones one of the bubls are bigger and it looks to me that the new ones are skinnier in hight than the old ones but maybe not....sorry about the misspellings

clean look on the white! Shaving emblems is a matter of preferance... either way though the shop did a great job
