I got rid of the spare actually. I have 19's on the way so it was coming out anyway.

Thanks, ya StreetEffectz made the faceplate. All it needed was a little black paint and now it matches perfectly. Honestly I have used hundreds of different dash kits on many different vehicles, and for a pre-fab piece, there is no comparison! It fits great and looks like its OEM.

I used a Dynamat extreme bulk pack and did almost the whole car, including under the brake light in the spoiler, the whole trunk, all the doors, the rear deck lid and behind the license plate. So it doesn't sound like a tin can.

the kit seems to have a gap on the left side. it also looks like its coming out at the bottom. only reason i bring it up is because i plan on getting a similar unit from street in the groupbuy section in a week or so. i just dont want my dash kit to look like that

Thanks. I actually don't have any pics.

Actuallyt I had this one done. I used to install and I've just gotten to where I would rather have someone else do it. I'm tired of my hands hurting. So now instead of installing products I sell them.

***EL*MAFIOSO*** props on tha clean setup homie
Thanks I'm happy with it so far.

progz Nice setup...how much did it cost you?
I havn't added up retail yet but at my cost (wholesale) with install it was like 3000.00 even including wiring shipping etc. I would guess retail to be closer to 5000.

Ya I wasn't completly satisfied with the kit, my installer spent a couple hours working with it and it's still not quite right. I did get it from streeteffectz

The 8017 is the newer model and has some new features, including, Dolby Surround Sound, new backgrounds and menus, and a couple of other things I can't remember off the top of my head. In the Audio/Video Forum, I posted some info about the unit including a link to an article explaining some of the major differences.

Sick setup....do components in the back make a huge difference? How much was everything? What made you choose kenwood over pioneer or alpine or some other brand?

Dude, this is a 2 year old thread.. Yes components make a difference, the sound quaility is 100X better, more sharp.. Kenwood, Pioneer and Alpine are all about the same with lil to no difference in features. It's all about your preference and cost. Go to the audio/video section, tons of information there

Nice and clean. That last pic makes your car look better than new! Do you have any pics of the new wheels installed other than the avatar? I didn't think the Milanos were still available.
