That's what I'm saying. They don't look like 18s at all. Maybe it is just the size of the tire that is throwing me off because it doesn't really look like a low pro but I could be wrong.

I think he needed to go with a 225-40 tire instead of 215-45...I'm kinda confused as to why you went with those higher profile tires...That certainly would've helped the look a little. Another half inch drop will make a difference as well.

thanks for the feedback. Im still very green--first aftermarket wheels ever. I liked the 215/45 because it was very close to the stock diameter. guess I went by the book, a base hit was all I wanted.

I'm getting a lot of rubbing on turns. perhaps every good turn, so the learning starts now.

Saving for Koni Yellows.

Aren't 18s usually 18x8.5. These are 18x7.5 I'm so confused.

the 225/40R18 was almost an inch smaller overall. I would've definitely had to drop it some more to fill the fender. but I think the "drop it more!" is what a-ziners want anyway.

I'm still learning about all this fitment. These tires/wheels will do until I get more aggressive.

I've already chipped the gray paint. What's the best touchup kit for rims?

jjashaa, I agree, but isn't some of that 4x4 look the tread pattern? I noticed in some of the pix I didn't post that the light made the tread look more 4x4 than in other pix.

photography is always tricky and deceiving... I admit some pix the tires look GIGANTIC, but in this one, the tires look Low Profile.

Drop it about 2" and change tire size and it'll look better. But spokes are too small for the TL.

2 inches!

the Koni Yellow alt-perch will drop it another 0.5 inch. I would need coilovers to go another 2 inches right?

not a real big fan of those rims, but looks good. I agree with the others on the sidewall height..shoulda went 40 series. If you want to drop it low youre gonna have to go with coilovers.
