New Project: Sound System.
I will be updating this thread while buying/installing the rest of the speakers/subs/amps
I posted a thread on my upcoming sound system but it didn't get any replies. This is the link to the other thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/ramblings-12/starting-new-business-need-help-176080/
I'll post the info here from that thread.

Kicker 6" components 1" tweeters (8 speakers total). I forgot the model # for these.
Earthquake PowerHouse 5k watts max/3k watts RMS
Rockford Fosgate Power T1 15" subwoofers (2)
Custom 2-piece ported box (literally takes up the whole trunk )
Lightning Audio battery/cables in the trunk
Dynamat in the trunk
Now with the next setup I was hoping to get a more clear/crisp sound for the mids/highs and also get some free space back in the trunk. Also, I wanted the subs to hit harder inside but not be so loud to the point that I can't really hear the vocals. So now I want to make the list of the stuff I'm hoping to buy very soon. Here is the new setup:
Alpine CDA-9887 (keeping it)
Clarion EQS746
Crunch P500.2 (for tweeters)
Crunch P1100.2 (for mids)
BOSS TW30 3" bullet tweeters. Will have 4 total (http://www.bossaudio.com/main/666)
Selenium mids, 6" (4 total) and 10" (2 total) (these are house speakers and sound damn good)
Earthquake PowerHouse 5k watts max/3k watts RMS (keeping it)
Rockford Fosgate Power T1 15" subwoofers (2) (keeping one sub)
New and smaller ported box for the one 15" sub
Lightning Audio battery/cables in the trunk (keeping it)
Dynamat on all doors, floor and roof

On the door panels-
On the center panels-
As you can tell I'm not done yet. I still have to do the other center panel and do the wiring on those two tweeters. My friend helped me wire up the two on the doors and wow, what a difference they make. The Kicker components were also wired up to crossovers and I found out one of the crossovers was missing a screw so my passenger side tweeter was not working at all....
Well I took the car out for a drive without messing with my radio settings and all I can say is that these monster tweeters are LOUD! My damn head hurts now lol. They are under powered and they still scream and are also very crisp and clear.

You must be a hardcore audiophile, huh? I was on the fence until I saw the center console and that pushed me off. Can't wait to see the final product, but it does look like a little much.

How does it sound? That's what is most important...
At one point I had a total of 10 speakers, one sub and three amps. Now have 6 speakers, two subs, and two amps...it actually sounds a lot better. Everything is running active and I still need to do a lot of tuning The point being, more isn't always better...I'm not an expert, but I think the equipment combo you have is going to be difficult to tune well.
It is a constant experiment, keep trying out stuff 'till you get it dialed...good luck

brave man for chopping up a nice door panel and center console, I would never do that to my TL, it would bleed. Would of molded some on the A pillar and maybe the B pillar, your ears are going to hurt from all those tweets. A nice pair of components would sound nicer.

Well thank you guys for the input. Most of you are obviously very conservative when it comes to your sound system setup. In my case though, I want to actually compete with my sound system and I really didn't want to make it blend in too much or make it look OEM or w/e. I wanted to have something visible so ppl see I got something done but not too extreme. I like how these tweeters look so I'm not complaining. The cutting looks sloppy but if you actually judge the final outcome, it came out clean.
I know some of you may think it's too much or too many tweeters but If you read my original post you will notice I'm getting the same amount of mids as well. Like I said already, I want to take this to shows and compete, not just your old fashion simple/conservative setup like most of you have.
Anyways, they sound great. I finished installing the other two tweeters on the center console with my friend today. I took the car for a spin and I can't believe the difference that they make. Extremely loud and crystal clear, is the best way I can describe them. My radio goes up to volume 35 but I usually don't go higher than 24 because then my Kicker mids start crying. Well I took these tweeters up to 27 with the same settings and they were already hurting my head once again lol. They could have gone further but the mids sounded like they were going to blow. I just need to sit down one day and adjust the settings once I get the new mids and amps.

Besides, how is a OEM looking setup more impressive? It just looks stock lol, it's too common and almost to easy to install.
But anyways, the tweeters sound great, crystal clear and very loud so far with a puny amp. I'm hoping to get the rest of the mids and the last two 5" tweeters. As soon as I get those in I'll post pics before and after install.

Caligirl2k, I'm currently running a 5k max/3k rms watt amp to the subs.
Not sure what you mean but the Boss tweeters sound amazing. I tried listening to other types of music besides rap (like Daft Punk and Coldplay) and it sounds great all around.
