im thinking about painting my 99 tl flat black so i want to see if anyone else has done this.

 

 

someone's done it on their 02/03. doesn't really work with the styling of the car imo

 

it would look like this... and it doesnt look right as mentioned above.

Honestly, I think you should do it, but execute it right, like flat black it, but you gotta murder everything out, grill, headlights, door trim, handles, and maybe even your wheels. I think it can be done right.

it would look nice but i agree with n1njai you gotta do it right to pull it off

 

if you really want to go through with the primer looking flat black, at least do flat black vinyl. dont paint it. flat paint requires extra/special care when cleaning. but then again so does vinyl. make sure no birds shit on it.

just make sure to add a wink mirror, sticker bombed front lip and tow hook with a small toy hanging off to complete the look.
