Ok here's a real thread I gave up on picture quality.

Bought the car from my dad for 3500 in 09 with 62k on it it now has 102k

Its the only picture of the car I had the day I bought it so ignore the great pose i'm putting on

decided first thing to do was to tint the taillights

I have since bought new taillights since the second time I tried to re-tint them it ruined them

I then decided cold cathode neons were cool

presents from streetglow

Then i decided LEDS cooool, I drive an Audi....

Time for tips

It seems like everyone had a plastidip phase luckily mine only lasted an hour

Then I destroyed my knee playing basketball and the surgery kept me away from my car for 5 months but good things come from bad.

By intake res.

Debadge and white lighting craze.

6000k

What did I hit?!

Never liked them anyways

Its a new you

VLEDs switchbacks

Painted engine cover forgot to mention..

More later...This takes waaayyyy too much time...

Random

Comptech Springs but still a monster truck...

This bad boy

and my neuspeed strut bar and window tint should be happening in the next 2 weeks.

The black head lights and fog lights along with an Eibach anti-roll kit around Christmas time

Then I'll be looking for a new headunit speakers and sub

And maybe one day ill buy some damn coils and an ALTP exhaust but that's a ways off...

Not as impressive as most peoples threads but who doesn't like pictures?!

lol, good stuff man.
I'm glad your plasti dip job only lasted an hour, it looked so bad LOL!!!
As for your plate, you can always mount it off to the side, or just put it on your dash

Yeah it was horrid, I'm no painter. I'll get it sprayed by real paint one of these day. If I wasn't super lazy I would move the plate lol.

Merry Christmas

Someone got a bath
And I unfortunately got pulled over for no front plate. 3RD TIME! So I'm done being a badass, I'll do a relocation or something.

Happy Holidays Ziners

I f***** knew someone would call me out for that lol. What can I say the delusion of a 16 year old boy and what's worse is the left side screw is completely stuck in and I don't want to break it off because there's an outline now. So I wanna get a better frame but that involves drilling it out which I have not yet done. Because I am lazy.....but thanks guys and happy holidays.

Also as an update my Tl will look this way for a while. If you look on jaaashas miata thread I had a mishap with a miata my friend and I bought together to turbo and track and after all our effort to turbo and tune I wrecked it Thanksgiving day... So any money I have is going towards fixing it. Oh well...such is life.

Yesterday I got a call from the tranny shop and they told me it's the axle, it snapped completely in half. However, they wouldn't know about tranny damage until they test drove it.

How does ones axle tear in half during normal driving? Were your boots torn?

Honestly, i'm not sure, but I was leaving from a yield sign and jumped out in traffic and all I heard was a metal snapping sound and a "clank clank clank"...then I stopped and put the car in every gear "clank clank clank", it was the most awful sound i'd heard in a long time. So I ended up paying $350 instead of $2000 for a new tranny install..!!

It's been a while guys and not much has happened but, I did add blacked out headlights today.

I posted pictures in another thread. https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-1999-2003-98/hid-issues-914069/

I'm on my phone so this is more difficult than it looks.

Worth every penny good sir. Maxed my coils out yesterday. I'm in love. Also a helpful tip to anyone looking to roll your front fenders pop all the tabs out, put the liner above the tabs then use a rubber mallet and bend them back until it's secure no rubbing issues to be had.

Going to attempt my first retrofit just because I have these lights laying around anyway not sure which route I'll go yet though.

But to start I'm wet sanding only done 600 and 800 grit so far.
