5000 are pretty close in color to stock- the 6000 gives more blue and is great for those with night vision problems- it picks out road lane markings and signs way better than stock.
Excelerate is an azine sponsoring vendor and carries both the Kaixens- check hmn for the parts you need
Make sure to use the lights all the time you are driving- to get 100 hours of ~burn in~ time on them
The color and intensity stabilize and they actually get a bit brighter

when its raining you can see the reflective dots on the road under several inches of water.
In bad weather and fog- where it picks out semi trucks at a great distance,
is where- pardon the pun- they really shine~
As long as I can see the road edge lines and other vehicles reflective lights, I am happy.
Sure I would like more white directly in front of the car, so adding some small units in the lower grill is on the to-do list.
Until then, if I dont see it until 50 feet away- I just hit it- better that than run off the side of the mountain
I Know I realllly should not have just set that joke up

Gotta agree with seeing the lines and reflectors better. My 5000K are still pretty blue compared to stock. Light with the 5000k also is NOT that bright in front of the car.
I saw a civic SI yesterday with really blue lights and we was going to the same place I was going. I asked him what they where. He said it was a 8000k HID Kit. It looked really cool but just useless. The light was only about 10 to 15 feet in front of the car and the glare getting annoying.

Purchased 6000 k's should be delivered on Tuesday with HID conversion kit for fogs 6000k also. Performed the foglight MOD from the DIY section so fogs can be on independently, worked like a charm.

Ok 12ks are just a glow. My friend put a 12k kit on his bike and its a nice bright purple glow.

My only problem is that my headlights need some major cleaning from beating over the years. Clean/clear headlights make a heck of a difference too.
