Talking It was a hot day... so I took the TL up to the mountains.

Not that the two things have anything in common. But it really has been bloody hot in socal these past couple of days.

This was at Angeles Crest, btw. This time I explored further into the highway and also found a less-traveled small road with beautiful scenery... couldn't resist taking some photos along the way!

this is the small side-road that i was referring to

^ just chilling!

This is the exact path which I traveled on... in case any localers are interested. The whole thing is roughly 45 miles.

Purple is the main road, and you can see the direction which I went via arrows. The red is the 'small road', pretty much the 2nd half of the pictures are all from there. That road ends (there are gates which leads into an unknown property) and you have to U-turn back down... it's about 2.8 miles long one-way.

nice....what camera did you use btw. Also, what exit did you take off the 210? I usually drive my way out of the Osbourne exit for some target practice at angeles range.

beautiful pix

btw, my friend just f*** up his car over there couple days ago...he was dropped pretty low and ran over a rock about size of a volley ball and caused all the engine oil to leak out! well, it was at night and with a bunch of chicks, and his b-day, and the shitty thing is, there's no cell phone signals up there, with no call boxes! $350 to tow it back to san gabriel......
