Whats up guys, more progress on the TL. Just put a set of work wheels on, dropped the front about an inch more, new exhaust, and got her all cleaned up.

I have to find the spanner wrench to lower the back a bit more and install the puddle lights, but once that is done I'm not sure what ill do next.... Any ideas and comments are welcome!

I'm not sure how I feel about the red painted brake calipers. I would paint them black so they don't draw attention away from the new Work wheels.

thanks bud, yea the brake calipers i did when i first got the car a couple years ago, but i think its on my list of things to change.
yeaa, i was trying to find the spanner wrench for the back locally but i have had no luck, so im gonna order it online.
wheels are Work Euroline S2H, a discontinued model.
10k? as in the hids? they are both 6k

I actually like the height. But I guess most are saying lower..

Paint the calipers black. And have you seen the new roof spoiler heeltoe is making? I think it would look sweet on your car.

 

Looks pretty clean, but it does need to be about another inch lower in the front and about 2 in the rear

 

Thats pretty much how my drop looks with comptech springs. The back is higher and I was expecting a diff look.

 

maybe a stupid question, but if i were to go much lower and i hit a bump while taking a turn, wouldn't my tire hit my fender?

It's a possibility...but that depends on how low you go, and how stiff your suspension is.

 

What are the specs on your wheels (offset and width) what is your tire size, and what coils are you on?

 

Very nice and clean car

 

18x8 50mm offset, with 225/45/18s

suspension is ground control with tokyo illuminas struts set at 5 (firmest setting)

 

With that setup, you'll be fine. Drop it down, son.

 

you need to lower way more, and those tires are too thick!!

running 40 series tires is too thin for a daily driver in the part of town i live in and this car has got to stay somewhat practical

Lower would look better, but on Houston roads I think not.
