Im thinkin of doing something a little different, im just curious how the DRLs look on the TLs. If im not mistaken the CDN TLs came with DRLs

 

It's just a DRL chip under the hood....then you can be the "CDN TL"
How does it look like? Turn on your High Beam and imagine that ......well plus dim it a little bit

would u be able to do that a 2000? id like to do that..my high beams are amber meaning id have amber drls.....if so can someone plz guide me on how to do it?

 

its not just a DRL chip u plug in and it works, its complicated and wouldnt bother doing it.

my friend hand to add another ballast by the looks of it, ground the wire to the engine/coil pack to tell the ECU that the car is on and the light needs to be on.

 

heres what i had in mind. i have yellow fogs and i was thinkin about putting yellow in the highbeams and wire it to my fogs so itd look like DRLs but im not really feeling the look of it. maybe it jus needs to grow on me

 

I drive like this most of the time, with my HID fogs as DRLs, I also took out the fuse for my DRL so I can get rid of that ugly yellowish look.






I want to put yellow highbeams in and put back my DRL fuse in so I can have that JDM deep golden yellow look on my headlights and have HID fogs on, that would look awesome also!

 

see thats kinda what i wanna do since i already have the yellow fogs i wanna put yellow bulbs in my highbeams to get the JDM look. any of you guys know how i can wire the highbeams to my fogs so they turn on when my fogs are on. i already did the foglight mod. i think itd look mean as hell at night when all u see is yellow

 

i just need the DRL unit to complete my look...but i drive like this everyday...lol

 

you dirve with your highbeams on all the time? And what's in your side markers?

is that fully powered, so u blind people? or is it low powered like the DRL?

 

Yeah, the turn signals is what I meant, lol. damn those look pretty white compared to the PIAA bulbs I have, they match the stock HID a lot better than the Xtreme whites.

Does your blinkers blink faster since you put in LEDs?

 

Yea, The DRL.. When ure HID brain goes on u.. They come on... I know 1st hand.. A USD TL the inside lights come on when ure brain goes....

lol...havent gotten pulled over yet...soooo til then they r always on...but i do turn them off when im 1st in line in the turning lane...

they r polarg bulbs in me turning signals...not leds...

 

Nice what model # are they? I have to pick these up, they look like they match the stock HIDs very well.

 

well i guess from the pic...but in person it looks kinda dim in my opinion...but they would go nicely if u have 8ks for hid...thats what i want...

eh...lol...just get a pair...they rnt that much...i can definitely tell u that its blue-er...lol
