i believe the reason for the one person who did it was because he was in a front end accident and he wanted the 02 front end so he told the body shop to put convert it. i believe the car is ssm.

ok let me say this once and for all. i bought my 99 tl for dirt cheap at an auction and i want the newer look. so this is why i want to see how the 02 front fits and looks on the older model. i know it looks the same but i want to see for myself. i got my car for a fraction of the price of an 02-03 model. so please dont tell me to get the newer 02-03 model. again, i dont pay f&*kn' full retail for the parts or anything so those of you who are tripping out, thanks for your concerns! as a matter of fact i am going to get the whole front end from someone in the bay area (CA) for 475. so if you think i am stupid for wastin my time and money, well let me say that when its all said and done, i will only spend about 7000 for my 99 tl to look like an 02-03 model. (yes its a clean title with 95,000k). you could pass this on to all those who were tripping out in the other posts i had about this matter. for those who are helping out, thanks like always. peace.

as far as i know, you need:
the hood
fenders
front bumper
grille
headlights
fog lights (need a harness as well to wire them up along with the button)
and the front bumper beam support or w/e its called (the metal bar that goes accross on the inside)
i think that pretty much covers it... maybe some other smaller stuff.
