Hey guys
I am going to be purchasing the 2002 Tails. Has everybody bought the ACURA brand or is there anybody out there that has bought aftermarkets. Is there any difference in shade of red or anything. Please post pics of ur tails and tell me what brand you think I should purchase.

yeah, its the actual harness not fitting correctly into the taillight housing. it doesnt 'notch' in like it is supposed to. that is why we have to just tape in to keep the bulb in the correct position, or else you gotta get the harness. it works, so i just leave it.

all my bulbs fit perfectly fine on my tailights, and they're the DEPO ones(aftermarket 02-03 tails), and i paid half as much by bying the aftermarket ones

stock 02+ tails will require taping or a new harness to fit your current sockets. The DEPO ones will be a direct fit plus at the top corners, there is no silver lining, just clear.

So, Is DEPO the way to go? (For best fit, appearance, and quality)

I remember reading a thread not to long ago about mismatched reds. I could have sworn that one of the taillights was pink. That tread stopped me from purchasing aftermarket taillights.

Best is still OEM imo - if you dont mind buying the wiring harness or using electric tape to secure the turn signals. DEPO is good from what I've seen/read and is much cheaper. But for me I like going with OEM parts because for sure it's perfect fitment & quality. I actually got the 02-03 tails by trading + $ so lucky me

oem for sure. i cracked one of mine and to replace it i paid i think 190 for one tail light. kinda rough on the price.

check ebay some salvage yards sell on there.

i have the cracked one. its cracked on the top where its clear. all you would have to do is put a peice of rockblocker or better yet tinted rockblocker on there and you wouldn't be able to tell. like i said im just gonna throw it out eventually. pm me if you want it
