i think i saw a thread in the racing subforum where two guys with identical cars (xcept for headers) got dynoed and the dude with xs headers had higher gains than ct. with ct you will have better quality parts and you will not have to deal with the shitty bolts (can be replaced with good ones). but for the price of new ct's you can buy about 4 sets of xs. its your choice in the end.

i think it will give u the same hp but teh comptechs are make better and will last longer. but for about $150 for XS u could always buy headers and still save money.

there is also a third option of getting the DC Sports headers for about $385 from Excelerate. I have heard from people that purchased the XS that you run the risk of getting resonation, and their the quality is hit or miss. From what I understand, all brands are basically just a replica of the CompTech, so they should provide the same level of performance (theoretically), you are just choosing what quality you want.

Personally I am going with the DC since they are of good quality but not outrageously expensive like the CompTech headers are.

Does yours have the old 2-bolt flanges? If so, you can pick up thick gaskets from NAPA. I tried the SCE copper ones from Summit, but they didn't work well. I've had the NAPA ones for a year and a half with no problems.

If money is no object, like you said, Comptech all the way. Or, if you want to save some money, go DC Sports.

Comptech is hands down the best choice. Of course it comes with a price tag. The DC Sports headers are the second best choice IMO but they won't be back in inventory until the end of April. DC got bought out and they are working out all the production now.

thats why i say just spend the money for good shiet the first time, so you won't need to keep using more money later on. you don't wanna buy cheaper parts for the sake of money and later they get all bootsy and you have to spend MORE money just for something that'll work. C'MON TREAT YOUR CAR RIGHT IT DESERVES IT!
