XS headers?
XS headers?
I would usually buy them from excelerate but I cant wait for the paypal 3-5 day period for the money to transfer because wednesday I am going to a friend of mines dealership to have an assortment of parts installed.
Thing is is that its about an hour and a half there so its not like I can just go back down there and install the headers, id like to do everything at once
so places where I could buy these online would be great guys!

Call Josh in person at excelerate and see what he says on the matter
ebay sales may take a few days to process your order at the seller- then pull the order off shelf- send it thru shipping dept- finally get on the truck 2 days later......
Driving 1.5 hours- and then want headers installed hahahahahahhhha
Maybe you would like the water pump changed-- while you wait- as well Sir!

Honestly, I'd say do it your self and save the money for another mod.
They're really not that hard to install. It's just very tight spaces you have to work with and some bolts are bitches.
Spray some PB blaster on all bolts and let it soak before you start trying to do the install.
I got two ramps that you drive on to. Put 4 jacks stands on the car to be safe, got under the car and started unbolting everything.
A couple different sockets, PB blaster, some extensions and a torque wrench was my best friend.
If all else fails, you can get it done at a shop. At least you can say you attempted.

how long did it take? do you remember the sizes of the wrenches you used?
Alright I might join the bandwagon and get on these XS headers. After reading all the different post and reviews. My question is what the headers all come with and what I need to replace? I heard the gaskets are made of recycled batteries( so new OEM gaskets or is there a cheaper alternative that gives out same security) and stronger bolts, right? Please list the parts I need to consider to get before install of headers. Thanks in advance if someone gives me this info.
my gaskets seemed to work just fine. I got new Stainless bolts and torqued them down pretty good (maybe 24 ft/lbs? i dont remember). I believe they were about 3 inches long and 14mm heads. I dont remember the pitch on the threading though. Just take the bolts with you to the hardware store and match them up as much as possible.
It really isn't a hard job to do yourself if you have the right tools. A breaker bar and a pipe, which is limited in use cause its hard to have room for the leverage, a 12mm and 14mm socket and a torque wrench should cover most of it. Some box ended wrenches help too. I just set them on the head of the bolt and tightened down the nuts while the wrench pushed into the motor and held still. It seemed to work just fine.
