just get a fog light installation manual and hook it up the same way. instead of it being the fog light it will be the led. If not on line go an parts store and say you lost the manual or ask if they have an open box and take it out

why would you ask for another suggestion when the perfect answer has already been posted. No other good way than that.

I just wanted to see if anyone else had done something similar or new of a diy post about this led lighting...Thanks

--can I just tap directly into my 12v lighter plug????
There is a hole in the firewall through this rubber plug that an old aftermarket alarm was wired to...I would just run the wire through that

---- Can I locate the 12v plug (wire) throgh the FUSE panel ????

This should help you with wiring and powering your LED strip as well as setting up a switch.
