what motor mounts to get

ohk so the other day coming home, i let off my throttle at around 40 mph and i felt the car shake as if the motor mounts are going bad, and i did a quick look at them but i cant really tell whether their bad or not, but i love working on my car so im gonna decide to change them anyways just to be safe, so should i go oem or something stiffer, i like to race, so i was deciding on something stiffer but im not to sure on where to find some good quality mounts, i thought about innovative but im hearing bad things about them...could someone point me in the right direction on which mounts i should go about getting..thx for the info

If you want the OEM feel, go OEM. If you want performance, go aftermarket. Innovative Mounts makes engine mounts for our cars.

no really options for the time being other then the OEM ones and the problem prone Innovative ones

hopefully there will be some more options in the future though

like my thread:
https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-cl-2001-2003-50/ingalls-stiffy-etd-mount-760178/
but it is still not a replacement just a add on, and the process is only begineing at getting them made

then also Excellerate should be also coming out with a complete replacement set (minus the tranny ones), but they are still in the testing phase , and no time frame is set ethier when they might actually be coming out

totally depends how much power you got, and how much you beat on them, but from what i have seen posted, for some people it seems like they only last for a couple of months (or weeks), where other people have them last longer

still not worth it for me, especially considering that you know they are going to have issues down the line, and then innovative will not stand behind their product , so i would say just get OEM for the time being

proably not gone completely yet, but will get worse, so maybe just drive it for a bit longer if you can deal with it, and hopefully excellerate will have come out with his mounts when you truely need them

as long as they are not torn, you should be alright, but new mounts will not be worn out, so the rubber will help them along with the urethane

also you gotta let the mounts cure for a week or so, so the car has to be not mobile for that time, if you do not have a spare set of mounts to fill and let cure

I wouldnt waste my money. Odds are if they have more than 50k miles they are shot and polyfilling them would be pointless
