As depressing as it is I caved in to letting a shop put this in. I started work on it with my friends father, and things were going great. Then I had to actually remove the pulley bolt.
Needles to say without the pulley tool we were not able to get that bolt off. Without that darn tool the pulley would continue to turn and not let the bolt come loose. So today around four I'll get my car back and hopefully I'll get a feel for the difference within the week.

Got my car back, and I can kind of tell a difference already. I know that it will take a week though to show its full potential. I'm just pissed I couldn't do it myself.
i'm about to get my timing belt changed. Hopefully the dealership will swap pulleys for me while they already have it off. If not, ill just leave a $20 with it and hope the mechanic notices while he drives my car in

Or he takes the 20 and says screw you.

Someone didnt do their homework before trying to take this off. You could have used the socket wrench placed it on the frame and tapped the ignition a few times and the starter would have loosened the (as others have found works)
