Turbo TL?

Alright so i have prepared myself for the roast that im about to get in the response section, so with that said i want to know. Is it possible to swap a turbo from lets say and Audi A4 or a TDI (just examples) and put it into my 02 TL-S. i love this car and want to get the most power i can without spending my left leg on it. LMK if its possible and keep the roast on a minimum.

No roast session coming from me. If your TL is an auto, kiss your turbo dream goodbye.

The OEM inlet of the Turbo is too small for the TL big ass 3.2 Exhaust Flow as they are designed for a 1.8/2.0 Engine, You could search for the 3.0 Audi Turbo which has a bigger turbo but in general OEM Turbos are not suitable for these kind of setups outside their specific engines since those were chosen specifically for the engines that will run them.
Your best bet is to save a little and get the Turbo you need. Also about the Trans, Definitely if you are thinking about Turbo get the AV6 Trans first (AUTO) because our OEM Trans is garbage.

Have you not heard how early honda-Acura transmissions are made of glass (not literally lo)? They can barely handle normal engine power let alone turbos.

no, OEM turbos are made for that specific engine set up.

get a hx35 or a garrett gtx30 or 35 equivalence. Your engine will be much happier. Your transmission on the other hand... AEM infinity looks like a good stand alone if you want to go that route.

Get 2 of the 3.5 Ford EcoBoost turbos. These motors will spool them easy.

You will NEED a standalone system to tune it though as these ECUs can NOT be reflashed/tuned.
