Not my idea but a friend who does some SERIOUS Honda tuning said he thinks it will work. He had 2 Civics at Nopi Nationals and both run in the mid 11's.

He said he could put a TLS ecu in my TLp and it would get better performance. I told him I didn't think it would as the TLS has a different intake etc. His thinking was that with my mods I'd be fine.

Opinions, ideas, comments...all are welcome on this...not doing anything til I get some feedback.

I would get a v-afc II instead if I were you. you will get more out of the vafcII than you will with an ECU swap.

The TL-p and TL-S has different functions that the ecu controls so I think it would be waste to upgrade to that ecu. I don't even think the v-afc will help that much either personally. I don't see headers in your sig, so go ahead and spend some money on some headers to get 15-20 more whp on that thing.

 

OEM Kit and then headers...getting married in 2 weeks...need to save and spend lightly...LOL

 

It will not work. The reason is that a TL-s has VSA and the TL-p. The intake manifold itself is setup differently as well (is my understanding?)... I tried it too, did i forget to mention that too? Save your money and get the above discussed mods first.
