Show vs. Go

Right now my TL-S has tint, oem kit, and drop.

I'm in a fork in the road with modding.

Should I continue with my looks and save up for rims, ww rear lip, etc..

or..

should I get intake, headers, and maybe exhaust..

Intake I can afford within 2 weeks.. headers maybe a month after.. etc.. it will take time.

The tint, kit, and drop are plenty of show already - modded just enough to make people notice. No real need for the extra bling.

performance, TL-S wheels are the best stock wheels out so the TL looks hot with or without rims with a nice drop

If I had a Type-S I would definetely "Go: Intake, Headers, exhaust", but I bought a TL-P so I'm not really planning to do any performance mods.

Man since your ALLREALLY have the look you should go with performance Part, but it better to go both ways

me too. i say do some performance mods for now. you've got the basic cosmetic stuff done already. get some "go" parts then when you're done w/ that go back to whatever "show" stuff you want to do.

happy modding!

no point for the "show" w/o the "go" to back it up IMO.

Both for me.

I want a car that makes people go "Nice Acura" when I'm cruising down the street. But I also want people to go "Damn, that car has some go" when I'm on the track.

Show and go, FTW

If your plan down the road is to have enough money to upgrade both performance and look, then do the performance now with Icebox, exhaust (both looks and little performance), then header and pulley. It's the step that I took. Along the way of performance mods, you can do little look mods such as clear or blackout headlights, spoiler. Then when you have enough performance mod, go back to stereo system and rims. By then, if you still have money, supercharge is the last mod to go.
