Hey I'm getting my license next week and my dad gave me a gold tl-p all stock...i'm saving up to put mods on it..can anyone give me suggestions? i was thinking exhaust or an intake first so i can get a little more performance out of it..or a new chip perhaps?

 

stay away from the chips.. search for exhaust threads an other basic bolt on threads. theres sum goood stuff out there congrats on the car btw!

only reason wer hatin on the chips is bcuz they don't work. our stock ecu will override them within a short period of time. only reason to get a chip is if your goin F/I an you get a full standalone ems like greddy emanage or somethin.

what kinda exhaust set up should i do so it sounds beast but not riced out at the same time?

 

Take off your intake resonator, its easy and free

 

^that doesn't do much... pretty much ur only choices are comptech axlebacks, apexi ws2 catback, atlp catback, or magnaflow. anything else you find will probably be used or you can build a custom one. atlp has the best gains as well as the biggest price tag but it sounds uber legit! ws2 sounds pretty good too but minimal gains but also lower price. i went with ws2 because of the price.
