most waterpumps you buy in parts sotres are rebuilt oem units, or built to oem specs. id say whatevery you find or want to spend on it. both would be fine

I just bought a waterpump from Uglyphyscho on this board and it was from Napa. Looks identicle beside the Honda sign on the orginal. The Napa one was made in Japan which was printed on it. It is brand new and not rebuild.

I just got done with the timing belt change and remember to get a good clamp and a good steel pin that wont bend for the auto tensioner, it was a bitch I tell ya. Make sure you triple check all the teeth marks by rotating the pulley because the new one is not as stretch as the old one and mine was like a teeth off . Luckly I recheck it.

Thank you guys for the info. One more question, what tool would you use to compress the hydrolic auto tensioner? Thanks

a 6" C- clamp should be ok. and a small drill bit(tempered) use for the pin.

Great. Thanks much. A drill bit is a great idea for the pin. Thanks again everyone.
