i just bought a $50.00 speed chip that promises 13-15 true hp. does anybody have one in that could tell me how well it works, obvisouley different brands vary

 

im guessing more like 75-100+ horsepower with a Honda Sticker on ur bumper...

Yes it does work. It converts a TL-P to a TL-S. And if you already have a TL-S it converts it to an RL. Heres a story that took place not that long ago................. A friend of mine shows me his S-10 truck that actually looked pretty good slammed on 20's. He told me that he installed a chip that converts his motor from a 4-cylinder to a 6-cylinder...........THE END.

ive seen what it looks like at this performance shop its like a square module that has two wires (i think) and a knob that says off, min, and max but im returning it the day it comes

 

two wires wtf? most likely their power and ground wires so a light lights up when u turn the knob. haha.

id believe the product more if it plugged into the ecu or obd2 port

You got lucky that he takes returns...that is if you get your money back. Most scams wont accept a return bc they know people have figured them out by that time. next time do some research before diving right in lol. And if it sounds to good to be true...it probably is.
