Im looking from underneath and it looks maybe like there is a piece that might come out, looks like the piece that houses the led not the actual white plastic reflector. did you drive with the green lights instead of changing them?

i searched and found some pictures of some dude with a silver tl fully converted to the a-spec version and he managed to take out the complete housing. i'll see if i can find a pic.

"For power i just taped into a switched power source in the trunk. Then i wired the video wires to an rca cable. LEDs you can get anywhere, to change them i've done them 2 ways. First way i just desoldered the old green ones and replaced them with red ones. The second way i made my own circuit board and put some brighter leds in so it was more visible in daylight, overcast/etc. You have to cut through the plastic casing of the lights, i recommend a dremel, and then glue/epoxy/use silicone to glue em back together. "
quote from coverride.. you're lucky you got an aspec spoiler lol..i should've hopped on it when i had the chance because my damn trunk has holes in it from the oem spoiler so i can't even get the mugen rep without patching those holes up.. too much $ for all that

Oh hey I misunderstood your PM. I was able to pop out one of the lights (I have no idea why the other one just wouldn't come out...I was so going to use a hammer but I don't want to wreck my $1000 spoiler..lol). When you look from below, you should be able to see some sort of metal clip/spring/tab. You need to push on it to get it out. It's kinda tight and I could only squeeze one or two of my fingers in to push that little tab. But after that, I don't know how you can change the bulb itself...
Use a really thin flat head screw driver, wrap the head in electrical tap so u don't scratch the spoiler and then slide it down the sides of the lights and u can pry them out that way. They usually come out easier than trying to push them out from the holes in the bottom of the spoiler. Also the metal clip that holds them in will either come out with the lights or will stay in the spoiler. IN order to change the leds, you will have to cut the lights open as -Vip3r- quoted me as saying. I have some pictures and could probably right you up a quick description if you need.
Also -Vip3r- pm me if you are still interested in getting an aspec spoiler w/o the camera.

nice... you will be like the first white TL-S with an A-Spec spoiler in vancouver.
the canadian a-spec's came with red LED's on the corners, but i guess japan had it green for some weird reason.

By the way, I keep seeing this blue A-spec on my way to UBC during weekdays at about 7:45am in the morning. It looks stock, is it anyone's ride here?
Thanks. Hopefully I will have time to finally putting it on in the summer. I hope I don't get in trouble with the green LED's...

Its a amber light bulb. Yes you could hook it up any way you want. The bulb would have to be a dual filament bulb for parking light and blinker though

haha sorry i laughed for abit there.... but alot of people re-badge their cars on the road these days. Its not illegal so don't worry. As long as your badge won't offend people then it should be fine.
btw... one of my friend has INSPIRE badges on his A-spec for 2 years now and he never got pulled over for it. high beem him for me if you ever see him. his car also has rear tints, lowered, and a Tanabe Catback. He got a ticket for his exhaust tho.....

lol ya...I asked because my dad was questioning me....he was like what if you got pulled over my a cop, what if he/she doesn't know anything about cars, and then he looks at your insurance thing (the ICBC paper) and then look at your emblems....I think he just worries too much...my dad just wants to see proof that it's 100% legal...
lol sure, and you should high beam me if you see me
