Shift knob from a 3G

So my first question is, will the shift knob from a 3G type s fit my 2G? I think i've seen them on other members cars but i'm not sure.
and second, is there any website that sells OEM parts that I can buy one from? i'd rather get one that's brand new instead of from the BM.

The Honda/Acura MT shift knobs are interchangable with each other as with the AT shift knobs are interchangable.

some guy on eBay. I have a feeling that it would just slide onto the 3G shaft since it's thinner than the 2G

I think the Type-S shift knob from the 2G TL's look great compared to the 3G ones... they're just a bit too plain and look a bit cheap IMHO. The one on the 2G's shows the emblem and has an overall cleaner and luxurious look...

But maybe when you install it, it'll look nice. Look forward to the installation pix.

Oh, nonono, they'll work! I bought a threadless shift knob once - What you gotta do is find a rubber filler (it should come with one) that fits snugly inside the threadless shift knob. The rubber filler should have a diameter that's about the size of your stock shifter. THEN you can thread it on. Hope I'm not too late...
