when you bought them, didn't they tell you the total charges then? I've got things from China before and no customs, brokerage or any of that crap. Sounds kind of fishy

Did you buy direct fromMr Heel Toe?

The RB are made in the USA with a warehouse in New Jersey, but since you are in CANADA- there would be customs imports fees coming from the USA- and the GST is what 10% for you and anything else customs shoves on you.
UPS gave you the standard story.
Marcus usually charges additional 25 usd for canada shipping to cover all those things

Give him a call 1-949-295-1668

the brokerage charges to Canada are ridiculous, I bought ROTORA front and rear pads from EXCELERATE which is fine, he sent them UPS and for a $220USD package I paid $47CAD for brokerage and customs fees after paying extra shipping to EXCELERATE, I don't think the origin of manufacture is the extra cost, just brokerage and customs fees from the US to Canada thru FedEx and UPS are out of control. I've had a lot of packages from the US and always have to pay extra when it gets to my door.

Think its only thru the express carriers?

Thats why even the postal service makes you fill out a value of contents declaration!

Over $100- expect some taxes and fees

Smile and say thank you Prime Minister

The good news in this is the lifespan of the Racing Brake rotors.

You will go thru 2 sets of pads before replacement needed- with no shimmy problems.

When you add the labor of removng everything just to resurface the rotors at first pad change like most rotors- you have actually come out ahead.
I know it hurts now- but the pain will quickly fade-
though your brakes never will!

**Displaying shocking lack on geographical knowledge of Canada***
Why dont some north states members meet up with the Canuks living near the border.
Make a ziner group "meet"
Send parts to your house, a friend drops over and you work on your cars ???

i work on my car myself, my recent car was a buick grand national that i built into a 568 rear wheel horsepower every day street car which ran mid 10's 1/4 mile, so the labour to me is free since i do all the installs , i guess what i'm trying to say is you US guys are lucky when it comes to performance parts..
