I was one of the suckers stuck in the airport last week (Orlando, FL) and read every word of every car mag as I was there 22hrs in 2 days...

I saw where it was mentioned that the guy who is XS is an ex-engineer for Cosworth, the famous racing name. Should provide more creedence to his products.

 

Function-wise, there is no significant diferences between various makes of headers. The only problem (major one) is fitting and welding seam quality which will cause leaks, rattles, and cracks. These are all the least of a race car engineer's concerns because virtually the whole car is taken apart and rebuild after every race.

 

 

I read that in either a Super Street or Import Tuner also.

XS is confusing because some of their products are good, others are very bad.

 

It was Super Street, I was in the store last nite and saw same mag. It actually conveyed that dude was w/ Cosworth- product developer- and was Chief Engineer at Apexi.

 

Are you guys sure it was XS Power and not XS Engineering?
