rotor swap

I have a friend that bought some cross drilled rotors for his 04 tl but found out that they didn't fit because he has the Brembo calipers. Would I be able to use those rotors on my 02 type s?

Yes! Front brake discs are identical to the 04TL-p with no Brembo Brakes, It didn't fit his because Brembo Brakes uses a Larger Diameter Rotor.

The 3G TL-S/TL Brembo rotors will not fit the 3G TL Base non Brembo or the 2G TL unless you buy a number of other parts.

do not cheap out on rotors they will warp. if you want to upgrade from stock you may want to get a quality rotor such as a bosch rotor and throw some upgraded ceramic pads for better stopping power. you get what you pay for however. not everyone can afford brembro. This is an effective alternative to stock.

Brembo Blanks are not expensive

x2 EBC GD Sports, dimpled (not drilled through) and slotted, paired with Redstuff pads are great! On my second set of RS pads after 35k on the first set. No need to turn my EBC rotors either.
