Hey guys im planning on getting a new intake because my car cut into mines awhile ago and i taped it and put cardboard so it wont get cut anymore.. and i just want to make sure if an intake for the base 00-03 would fit my 99 tl? i searched it but just want to be 100% sure.

 

oo and which intake is more worth it, V2 or regular aem intakes.

 

It'll fit. The V2 is louder I believe, not sure about performance difference. If you want more sound, get the V2.

haha whats the difference with injen?

 

instead of cardboard, use a rubber hose, cut it down the middle and wrap it around the metal. looks a lot cleaner

 

v2 has a bit more performace than any other traditional intake .. they claim anywhere from 12-18hp, mainly cause they have 2 filters, one for low end power and one for high end power

 

^it has two tubes not filters. And remember those hp gains are probably to the crank, so you feel a lot less
