outlawengineering site says we supposedly get 8hp out of the spacers.... most people recommend getting them if you are going for more power and you already have i/h/e/p

I've got the P2R aluminum TB spacer on my 2000 TL. It gave the car a little more throttle response but I doubt it's anywhere near 8 HP though.

Get it along with the IM spacer also. Better gas mileage with some members and a tad bit quicker, not sure if it'll be THAT noticeable.

Tb spacer doesnt anything... and no better mileage chek if you want to make better mileage you have to dont push to hard on the gaz so the tb is a bit open did you thinks the spacer will make change ?
and In wot the spacer will work but your intake will break all the "vortex" but if the spacer will be between the upper and lower intake manifold I think it will be better. All person can think what he want to think . Buy the fuel magnet !!! wow you will make more mileage

If its really working why car manufacturer doesnt install all this thing in your car? Today all manufacturer make all that he can for make more mileage car. You will laught but before buy a tb spacer I will upgrade my batery wire... like ground and alternator wire ... think that the primary power of your car is fuel so to make electricity with the alternator you burn fuel... And if your wire is to small you will lost fuel ! ok you will not make very good gain but more than the tb spacer!

with outlaw its a tb and IM spacer.. so youre getting gains from both. p2r has just the tb spacer unless your a type s. p2r's spacer is considerably thicker than outlaw.. with the outlaw setup i believe a cai will mount up the same because theres only a 3/4 inch difference in thickness, however i have not tried it yet so i wouldn't exactly know. with the p2r you might run into a little more trouble making a cai fit because its alot thicker, which would push the intake over more possible running into the side of the engine bay..

if you do get the P2R one..

take the pipe to a grinder or something and just grind off like 1/4th to 3/8th of an inch off or something...

It does add hp; it's not a lot but on the 3rd gen TL it was 5 whp, but you need to do more than just the spacer. You would want to get the P2R aluminum 3/4" spacer and the thermal throttle body gaskets. The spacer will allow additional volume of air available for induction and the gaskets help reduce intake air temps.

Were there any dyno's on the 2nd Gen TL-P TB spacers? I got one from the group buy and was curious as to how much I actually gained. I did notice a little increased throttle response. Hopefully it's not just in my head.

Not specifically for the 2nd gen, at least as far as I know. The 3rd gen TL made 5 whp and 8 ft lbs of tq.
