Question Q: Replacing break light

I just noticed the break light malfunction in my 2001 acura tl.
Is there a DIY replace break light page for Acura TLs ?
I'm not sure how many bulbs are there in TL's break light.
Any ideas ?


Also, Incase if anyone needs it, I noticed the following info thru google search.

you should really just have to remove the plastic panels on the inside of the back of the trunk and pull the bulbs out. they should only be held in by some plastic screws or something. maybe i can grab a picture for you when i get home. i'm horrible at remembering though.

I'm unable to remove the plastic cover (inside the trunk) completely
to reach the bulbs. One quick question. Should I have to pull the
plastic stuff on the yellow arrow or the orange one ? (Pls see the following pic)

start by pulling the carpet out. that is how you get access.

No you don't touch any of that.

You have to remove the trunk cover then you can see them.
First you remove the plastic tabs(where there is an indent) and then the center plastic piece that runs across where the trunk latch is.
