painting spoiler

I'm looking for a shop in socal, prefer the oc area, that can paint a fiberglass spoiler I got from ebay...I've been quoted $300 which I think is kinda high.

What color is your car?

What type of spoiler?

Are they installing it too?

Some colors cost more to paint because it's a real pain in the ass to make the colors match up correctly. White Diamond Pearl is one of those colors, and it costs more than painting it Taffeta White.

Although I think 300 is a bit high... If you're asking them to install, it'll cost more.. if your install requires electrical wiring, it'll cost more... if the spoiler you bought isnt' a direct bolt on, meaning it's not made for the TL, then it'll cost more.

I'm in the process of getting a 2001 Prelude Mugen spoiler and a Sarona Roof Spoiler put on. I haven't called around for estimates yet, but I think it'll cost around 200-250 per piece.

I dont' know of any "cheap shops." But I do know some good shops that will get your color match right. Comes at a price though...
