Over 300hp TL-p
How would you go about giving a TL-p if you drive one over 300hp?
Obviouslt you'll probably supercharge, and have I/H/E
Probably pullies, but that alone wont give you 300 HP.
What else is there to do? There are tons of options like new cams and what not, but what are some tricks or mods rather that you guys have used.

SC, I/H/E will get you over 300HP at the crank. 225hp stock + headers 25hp + exhaust 10HP(10hp is a good guess with a SC), CAI 10HP, SC 50-60HP= 320-330 crank HP, add pulleys and there is another 10HP or 330-340 crank HP or 248-255whp.

More sarcasm? unless a new RL costs 25-30k. Mod the shit out of your car and don't worry about it, it is fun and if you bought a car with more HP you would probably spend the same money modding it anyways. so buy a car you can afford and mod it as you get extra money. makes sense to me.

Your TL will be worthles to resell once you drop $5-$10,000 on it get it over 300 HP. No one will want to buy a car with junk mods that ruin the transmission, make noise and lower gas mileage. Someone on this forum actually had $50,000 in their TL and it barely put out 300 HP just to get smoked by riced out Civics with nitrous.
Then throw in the price of a transmission after you roast it + all the money you will spend repairing a car that is out of warranty over the next few years then compare that number to how much a brand new RL with free maintenance will depreciate over the next 5 years which would be less than 25k and you will see its pretty damn close to the same.
Boosting a TL to 300 HP is a waste of money. There are plenty of new and barely used cars even 3G TLs that are already pretty damn close to 300 HP and are faster than a modded out TL-P without having to fuck them up with stupid engine mods that dont do anything but make noise.
Reminds me of those retards you see driving around with Volkswagen Bugs from the 60s with stroker kits in their $10,000 engines that are barely faster than a used Yugo

To you its stupid but thats you. I have multiple cars and have no problems buying another when I decide and actually might buy another one this year. Everyone has their opinion.
Not everyone trades their cars in or sells them so who gives a shit if the value goes down. I know I don't. I can care less personally cause I know I don't need to trade in a car to get one or no huge downpayment either. It's all about what you want to do with your money...since its yours, correct or am I missing something?
Also I know you mentioned having 300hp and getting smoked by civic ricers with nitrous .....You think a civic dx,cx,ex with nitrous would be a 300hp tl? What do they run stock? 16s? You would need either a engine swap or an si which would be about another $3k without labor.
I mean honestly, because someone wants to add more power to a certain car they are an idiot? What about those people who buy vettes and supercharge them to get to the 600hp mark....why not just buy a SL65 which has 600hp and 700lbs of torque? Are they idiots? Are those who mod vettes and still can't beat a viper an idiot for not getting the viper?

i bet you if you added those 4 to the mix you could hit 300whp easy on a tl-p, but you definitely are looking at alot of money.
or you could just get some nitrous and save yourself alot of time and money. although i like the thought of using forced induction myself.

yes this is true, BUT he made valid points. what may be dumb to one isnt to another. If you have the money and decide you want to stick it into your car why not?? Is me dropping the money on a 6 speed conversion dumb?? Ill never get the money out if it IF i were to sell it, so should i have saved the money and bought a new car instead, something with a manual in it?? or should i have done what i did and get another 3- 4+ years out of the car payment free and ENJOYED my purchase. It all comes down to personal prefrence.

U could always get thermoblock spaces in addition to the pulleys...good for another 8hp or so...otherwise super/turbo charge. Custom turbo would be around 7000 i believe yea? correct me if im wrong. I'm thinking maybe gettin an accord V6 supercharger for mine later down the line assuming i have the money and time.
