I just bought a oem lipkit from my local dealer in minnesota.He just ordered one for me, he said depends on the color whats available.My car is ssm got everything in that color except the sides.I was under the impession they were discountinued he surprised the hell out of me anyway worth checking out.Sold it for $1169.Just thought i would bring this up Thanks...Formula 1

 

A little too expensive for me, but since you only have to paint the side skirts it's all good. Remember to post pics when it's on.

They are discontinued as in they aren't making any new body kits. But some places have some parts of them left over.

 

I did not know that i contacted ray lakes he told me they were discountinued.I thought that meant no lipkits from dealers.I'm not to crazy about price either but what do you do

 

check the black market and do a search you never know what you'll find

Yep, I had to order my sides in WDP and have them painted.

 

I just got my front and sides from the dealership as well. Needing to get the rear ww lip still .

 

Good old supply vs. demand. I got mine from my local dealer also, but I convinced them to price match to Ray Laks. Was it worth the money? I think so.

 

And what was that price?

 

$929 at the time. I didn't even have to show proof, so I probably could've told him $900. Anything less than that probably could've sent off a red flag (but I was telling the truth with $929). But this was almost a year ago, I don't know what Ray Laks charges now.

 

I have the rear WW in SSM. I want to sell only b/c my muffler tips are HUGE and I want to go oem rear so they will look more exposed. I am willing to sell it. Its SSM but any shop will paint for a good price im sure.

 

Have you tried different exhaust tips,There are several ones out there different lenghts and size.

 

He has Apex'i WS2 mufflers, the tips are welded onto the muffler.

 

thats weird, i just ordered mine from acura no problem, got them within a couple days painted ready to go

 

What color and what year? Like I said, Honda is no longer making new kits, but dealerships still have some leftover in stock in their warehouses.

 

well since everyone is getting OEM lips I want one too. but I sure as hell am not paying that much money for one. its time for my street smarts to kick in any time now.

ok seriously if people are really stealing off each other's car (i.e. lips, skirts, center caps...) then i have no sympathy for you. if you get caught you should get your ass beat. if i catch you, i will personally beat the shit out of you and run your ass over myself and feed you to my dogs.

moral to the story: please don't jack people's stuff. if you don't have it, you probably can't afford it. if you can't afford it, get a damn job and save up so you can buy it.

im glad texas law allows a homeowner to shoot to kill anyone stealing property, even if its someone stealing from a neighbor. I got 10 357 rounds from my sub-compact glock for anyone trying to steal.

I am looking throught car adds and if I see one with a lip I will just offer the guy some money for it. ppl dont realise that there is a lip kit on the cars since only older ppl I see driving these cars here and they dont realy care so he can sell me the lip kit and keep the car for sale at the same price. therefore making more money.
