The Comptech axlebacks are really quiet, more so than the Apexi WS2. There is a drone i believe, but not loud. I suggest you on getting it. Worth the buy.

If you still have the stock B pipe the comptechs will be very nice.

The stock B pipe will make the axlebacks the quietest. If you modified the B pipe (like removed the resonators) you wont be able to stand the drone. The comptech B pipe isnt bad, slightly more than the stock setup. Now if you add the quiet tip inserts to that it will be very quiet.

As for getting them, talk to our vendor excelerate to see if he can get them from comptech

Oh and you can always custom tune the sound of the exhaust by playing with different resonator sizes to get the sound of your liking.

Thanks Kris, I'm getting NJZprettyboy's B-pipe that he had the flange changed to fit his TL-P. And I've got the quiet tips. I'll play around with that.

Thanks for all the input,as always you guys really help a guy out.I liked the sound at low rpm with the apexi but at highway speed it was really droney,The deep sound disapeared really fast tho it did not sound very deep at higher rpm.

Keep in mind that aftermarket performance exhaust WILL always sound louder than OEM ones. They gain performance by allowing more exhaust flow through less restriction and less baffling. All these put out more noise through the exhaust pipes.

Did not mind the sound from the apexi at all but the drone was in my opinion unbareable.Wierd thing about the apexi it sounded really good between idle and up to about 3000 rpm after that they were really quiet

I have the WS2 axle back, DC headers, all resonators remove, and straight pipe with no cat converter. I love the sound, close to a G35 coupe, and i dont experience ANY drone besides the slightest hum on the highway that dosnt bother me or ever get comments from passengers, if i turn the radio on to even a conversational level of sound, I cant hear them. The muffler shop that installed them said they hadnt seen a axle back kit that came so easy to install and perfectly matched for the car. The were in awe and all 6 of the installer in the bay were checking out the exhaust/tips/sound. A great purchase 4 me!

I find it VERY hard to believe that you have headers, those mufflers and the exhaust resonators removed and dont have drone. Hell there is drone with the stock mufflers, and they are WAY quieter than the WS2s

I really could care less what you think. If we were all dropping our thoughts, I would tell you that you are a post whore, and that the the response you just left basically calling me a liar was really uncalled for, and ignorant. But I guess you are entitled to you opinion, even if you don't have the same setup, and have to chime in to add one more post to your bloated numbers.
