So i just got done installing my nitrous kit from venom and they called me and told me that the module they sent me was for the wrong car so i have to send it back to have it re-programed for my tl. That sucks ass but it will be worth the wait. I cant wait to feel the spray with v-tec again

 

what do u mean they sent u the wrong module. u got a wet shot or dry, i got a 100 zex dry shot and i love the power when it sprays, car acts like a beats, just puts a smile on my face every time.

where do you order the kit from is it hard to set up?

 

i went to a speed shop and ordered from their. just follow the instructions and get it tuned and u should be good.

i dont know how much nitrojim paid for his kit and dont know if its wet or dry, i payed $560 and bought u new jets (100 nitrous, 100 fuel) and also a bottle opener and bottle warmer (got a great price on those)

destroy it quicker. i blew my third gear on the dyno when i was shooting a 100 shot. all the extra power that the trans has to hold up to and shift to will cause it to go out faster or just blow without any signs.

 

This thread is why cars blow up on Nitrous.

 

every one thinks that when u use nitrous the engine will blow up- FALSE
as long as u have enough fuel going in to the engine so it does run lean your safe (unless u use a too big of a shot for the engine)
i spay 125 occasionally and their have been other that have sprayed 125.
turbo and supercharged car blow up too if u run too much boost.

ive done my research on nitrous and learned why ppls engines blow up to know when enough nitrous is enough and when to spray it.

 

I am just curious to see how you have determined how rich or lean your car is running on the bottle?

 

Air/fuel gauge, i just got a basic one that reads off the first o2 sensor, when i sprayed 100 i ran a bit lean and now its right where it should be. or u can get a wide band which it what i need to be more accurate

 

word im thinkin bout running a 75 shot by boy who passed away this summer has a complete NX kit in his garage and his mom want us to help her clean out parts so me and my boys are going to run that too my car wat ele need to be done after i install it

 

TUNE the car.

 

iight easy enough everyone tellin me to also get a bottle warmer too wat else besides that should i get

 

bottle warmer is good when your driving and the battery charging, if your on the drag strip and your car off and bottle warmer on it will kill you battery, i use a torch to do that, remote bottle opener is also a good idea if u need to kill some car on the street. air fuel gauge, something to tune your car.

So i got the nitrous in and it works really well. The car flys!!!!!! NOW ALL I AM WAITING FOR IS TO PUT MY VAFC CONTROLLER IN AND THEN ILL PUT SOME PICS ON HERE

 

what kind of shot? make sure u get it tuned before going all on with it, its addicting but it could cost you your engine if not tuned. and start saving up for a new trans too.

 

I keep debating on a 75 shot......with my luck lately, something would break for sure.. lol
