Re: EDFC Control Unit

Anybody have ideas on where I can mount the EDFC Control Unit when I get it?

Thanks,

Noah

hmm.. i had one, never installed it. i was thinking about installing it where the coin holder was. just had to do a bit a dremeling. i took it apart and looked at it. seemed like it would fit well, just had to cut out the top of the coin holder. i don't remember if it fit in the spot under the coin holder, inbetween the heated seat controls. that'd be a good spot as well. i've also seen people just throw it in their glove compartment. another spot i've seen it is ontop of the steering wheel.

I was planning on getting one when in got my SS-P's. At this point, I can remove the rear seat adjust the settings and replace the seat in under 10 minutes at the the track so I may never do it.

Check out uncald4's thread on double din's. Theres a few pics of a custom mounted edfc unit that he did. It was mounted in the coin tray area and looked really clean.

OKay....thanks for the info.

Yeah...on top of the steering wheel might be good as long as it doesn't obstruct anything.

Coin tray...wonder what that would look like?

I thought about the glove box but space is precious in there.

I used that thing as a catch-all when I am driving because the middle console is kind of awkward to open while I am driving...maybe I'm trippin'

Now that is bad ass.

I guess I would have to purchase that bezel piece and send it to him along with the edfc unit.

Sounds expensive...but damn that is SICK!

Looks like it fits perfect.
