I'm sure that making intakes for members on here is not the only this he has going on right now. Let him take care of what he is doing and I'm sure he will get around to it sooner or later. You don't want to rush and him and have the product not as good as it could be.

As much as we all want to see the end result, he is only one man, but when he does finish this, he may be a rich one, SO HURRY UP!!!!! just kidding. Can't wait to see how the type-s version turns out, take your time and do it right.

Yes, in a perfect world all 2G TLs would have 6MT's but I have to make do with my 4 spd auto

life sucks, is it so hard to ask God to have a 6 speed 500hp real weel drive TL. (i think reall weel drive would make our car the moust superiour driving machines on the road, and better drifts.)
i mean is it so much to ask?

POST IN THE CL forum...
Yes sir, the CL-S is a definate go.

I made one yesturday, modified the piping a bit now so the P and S hard piping should be the same now, the diff. is in the coupler lenght and fitting placement. It will be tested on the CL S as well to be 100% sure.

Thanks for all the patience. If I had a TL-S/or CL-S local then they all would be done by now, but I don't and have to wait for the CL-S to come into town.

I'm going to post in the CL forum as soon as I get pics with it on the CL'S

I will have the dyno of it on the TL-P with sound.
I am trying to get a few turbo installs I have lined up out of the way right now to finish mocking up the "V2" intake. I am already making the regular AWP1 cold air.

quik random question. since all u acura intusiasts are on this thread. whats a good exaust for a tl s, cause a friend of my asked me if i wanted to buy his, off a 2000 tl, his is basicly strait pipes with the cat back. i drove his when he had it and the car did feel torque, iono anyone think its good idea to slap it on (it sounds like a 350z untill 3k rpm then the intake kiks in). just a question u don't have to answear it if u don't want to.

I'm hoping the CL-S will be here tomorrow for me to mock up the intake on and get the S version going.
(I've been doing a few customer charge pipe kits/turbo setups this week so I'e been a bit tied up)

completely agree with you RidinDurty. If he can't afford faster internet, he shouldn't even be in this forum, if you know what I mean

The AWP1 CAI will be $145 shipped, right now they will also come with a free K&N cleaner kit as an intro. gift.

Unfortunately, my S driver wasn't able to make it here yesturday, so I'm now trying to find an alternate car.

Hey, glad it made it there safely. If you need any install info just email me, I assembled it pretty much in the box.

^^^ i think i can figure most of it out, but where does the one bracket (top right of pic) go? i would think the little piece goes to the metal connector on the side where it connects to the TB (sorry i dont know the names but the metal part right next to the K&N Recharger box), but where does the other bracket go?

The hole in the little bracket goes over the bar of the battery tie (just remove the 10mm bolt and slide it on, then put the bolt back on. It will hook into the 1st T bolt on the coupler as a brace.

On the TB coupler, the side where the rubber fitting is faces the front of the car (just as it is) The fitting lines upwith the OE piece. Just reuse the OE clamp and slide the metal hose right in. The smaller fitting faces the cabin of the car, there is another hose on the back that slides on, that is what the cmaller clamp is for.

I want one for my 2000 TL. Would you please send installation instructions along with it? I'm new to this forum and I can't PM you, so please let me know if these are in stock and we will arrange payment. Thank you so much!

I got it in, but ran into a few problems. I can't get the bottom resonator off, so I am just running it as a short ram right now.

That bolt is stubborn and hard to get to without taking the bumper off, which I can't seem to do either.

Any suggestions on an easier way to get to that bolt, or should I take the bumper off (while breaking as few clips as possible, which is going to be hard)??

Also, when I disconnected the stock intake, at the bottom there are two tubes going into it. Apparently they are from the radiator and cool some unit at the bottom of the stock air box. I disconnected them when I took the stock box out, but did nothing with them. When I started the car, the fluid went everywhere and I had to be at class in a few minutes, so I ended up riding my bike to campus.

While in class, I found out from a post on here that all you have to do is disconnect one of the hoses completely, then connect the end of the loose hose to where you unplugged the other one from, so the fluid will just circulate instead of going through the unit since it isn't there any more.

The car sounds BEASTLY now

It would be best to take the bumper off. Not too difficult.
