Dude if you're low on funds and you want to upgrade your car get them. They may not yield the same 30hp that comptech does but i bet they'll give you at least 15hp which is a good jump. I understand not everyone that drives an Acura makes upper class money but want to do clean things to make him or her happy. I say do it. It's your vehicle. I'd love to be back in that place where I could buy Volks wheels every car I had like I used to but now I'm paralyzed and can't spend that kind of cash so what do I do now? Buy Volks copies from Rota. Sure its fake but it allows me to stay with JDM style I've strived for.

Most people dismiss them not because of the lack of HP, but because of the lack of quality. Those headers won't last long, and can create much more than a couple hundred dollars worth of headache. Exhaust leaks, rattles, etc.

After that, you will have to go back to stock, or buy another pair. It's a gamble. And just like every gamble, you might win and you might lose. Most of the time with stuff like this, you lose.

I'm not saying buy CT headers, but save an extra $200 for some DC headers or something like that.

+2 on DC Headers (Tough they Might run you more than 300 bucks new), Ive got them used for 180 bucks! they seem like new.

Anyone tried the OBX? they seem cheaper than DC but Dunno about craftsman quality...

I'm personally going to go with DC myself because they offer a nice balance between quality, performance and value. I've read of other members having good experiences with OBX headers, but like anything that's built to be cheap you run the risk of poor longevity.

Seriously, put up with stock for now and save money for quality DC headers. You will hate yourself if you buy those CCC headers and run into rattling or raspiness. Or find that in potentially less than a year you develop a leak or a problem with the flex pipe.
