Need some direction

I want to get a CAI/Headers/Exhaust set up for the 02TLS i've recently purchased. I don't too much care about the performance gains from the set up, but more about the change in the sound. I do not, under any circumstances want the ricey sound. I want a deep and throaty sound. Are there any brands that I should look for to get that?

you bought the wrong car.

a high revving 6 will always sound ricey no matter what you do to it.

Ahhh damn lol. I'll just keep it stock then. I had a Tiburon GT and I loved the way it sounded. I can't remember how high the RPMs were on it though.

^ i mean, you can try youtubing videos of the TL with exhaust.
except computer speakers will never produce the true sound of them.

they do provide a nice deep rumble, but the way Honda has engineered the firing order, the car doesnt sound as nice as an infiniti G car.

its all relative and subjective to your ears anyway.
dont let me steer you away from modding the car.

CAI, will make it throaty. Loose the stock resonator and buy one from Dynomax. Lots of vids on how that sounds. Gives it a better mid range growl. That's what I'm running and its pretty quiet most times and is loud when I want it to be.

Get AEM V2 + Headers + APEXi WS2 Catback and you will be amazed on how deep the sound gets without sounding too much Honda..
