I am actually in the same predicament. I am getting my windows tinted this weekend... I have a black on black TL I want to do 32 in the front and 22 the rest.. I am not sure how dark that 32 will look in the front. Will i still be able to see through the window?? pics?? Thanks

if ur car is black on black or just black interior, 20% looks perfect. i dont think theres a need to go darker

ok so i think i am going to go with the 20 all around, and all this talk about the dot matrix....I am going to a really good tinter, but either way i wanna tell him about this dot matrix. So i should tell him to sand them down? the orange spots on the back window...?

My tinter used a black vinyl strip and placed that on top of the dots. Looks perfect, no sanding or any of that crap. The vinyl strip looks clean and the dots are a non issue after that.

I have 5% all the way around..except the windshield. It can get some getting used to for some. In the dark you need to learn where the corners are when making a strange turn as you will not see them through the window. You really do get used to it but not everyone likes it that dark.
It will be very dark w/ 5%. Even on a sunny day, unless the sun is coming in the windshield and lighting the car from within, you have a hard time seeing in the windows. In the dark, forgetaboutit...
Wish had a better pic of the windows...
Here's one in the daytime with the door open. You can see how dark it is as there in no darkness from the car's interior to make it seem darker.

It's not a great picture, but here is my type s with 15% tint. They are normally pretty strick here in Florida, but I have not had any issues. It's not hard to see out of either. Brand of film is SunTech. Hope this helps!
