need new rear bemper

help me please!!!!!!!

i have recently gotten hit in a parking lot and by bumper got a little cracked its not that bad my girl friend says "it'll buff right out" but she does'nt make the car payment. any ways i wanna get it fixed you know. well i got $450 from the ladies insurance company and i am trying to see if this is the best time to just throw a little more in and get a nice body kit or what? i've looked all over this web site and every bodies agruing about the wings west kits or the oem kits (i personally like the oem kits) but i just want to see if any body know a good place i can go or look at on the web anything. i would even get in with the group buys i just want it already painted cause ill probably put it on my self to save some money. please im around the atl area. i would greatly appreciate it.

well for the kit you going to be looking at around 600-900 depending on where/what dealer you go, and what year and color car you have.

you got raped... i got $832 from one ladies insurance for a dent in the rear bumper....just popped right out. there is a bumper on ebay.

well its black. hopefully i can get more $ for it when i get home (im deployeed right now) the insurance company said if i wasnt satisifed with the estimate i can fight it. this happened the day before i left and it was a saturday so no palces were open it was a hectic time.

the car needs to go to a shop (whichever you prefer) get an estimate from them, two/three preferable places. give the insurance company the quotes(highest quote will come from an acura dealer) then they (ins. co.) are responsible for the cost to fix. i can tell you right now a new bumper with paint is over 500$ not including labor ect.... p.s. Check for "hairline cracks" in you light housings!!! theyll pay you your just responsible to get it "fixed how you want to"

damn new bumper with paint is 500$??!!??!

holy crap thats high.....i have huge cracks in the paint in my bumper but theres no way im paying 500 bucks....

im either just gonna wait till someone rearends me or go to paintscratch.com and try and do the work myself

I just bought a new painted bumper off ebay for around $300. Not the greatest quality, but it's worth the $300.
