Yea, thats what I was wondering as well. Well, what some guys do is, when they ship a car from Japan and its an r33 or like a newer supra or even an aristo, they register it as old body through the D.M.V. Therefore, registering ur car as s14 kitted to a Skyline could work i guess. As long as you have the ends of course.

if you got one shipped to canada are you allowed to drive it down to the states or is that illegal aswell ?
Would need canada plates to be registered as a skyline, otherwise we'd have to get the car shipped in pieces, and rebuild it as a kit car.

ah well i got lots of plates here you ever want some let me know then you guys can register them and get them over there if you would like but ya i see them all over here and the owners tell me they get theres for like sometimes as low as 5 k for a decent R33 GTR and they mod them to over 600 BHP somettimes the things you can do to those are off the chains same with rx-7

If your putting this much money into a 2nd gen TL, i'd get a 3rd gen OR something else like an M5 that can handle the power.

With just a couple of intake mods and us poor TypeSers can only run 14.2s & 14.4s and with H/HFC, some motor mounts and a few other insignificant tweaks we're beating up on BMW 550i & 650i and other sports cars.

As for the intake side of things, it's often underestimated by too many. With proper air intake design improvements the dyno improvements are one of the fattest powerband improvements you can get. Combine that with the highend power improvements of headers and exhaust and we are talking low 14s or even 13s.

I guess I should have read more before my first response . . but this is the point in a nutshell.

And reading the comments by some about the tranny being weak, well that's not entirely true. I've not gone through trannys any faster modded than I was stock.

1) the design flaws will result in tranny failure regardless of HP . . that's why there's as many stock CLs, TLs, Accords and Odysseys with this same tranny are failing.

2) According to an Acura director they claimed the tranny would handle more power, but the motor mounts that's a different story . . they are POS.

3) A 6spd manual is better for two reasons. a) no fluid cooling design flaw b) less powerloss to the wheel. Only downside is that there aren't a lot of options for stronger clutches . . but then again how many of us are putting out that much power out of a J32. . . except for ThinJim.

There is NO point or anything to be gained by swapping injectors. Only reason to upgrade the injectors would be if you went FI. And if you went that route you would be looking at RDX of S2K injectors.

FI = forced induction, you're mistaking it with fuel injected?? In which case it is, but it's not direct.
