Look under the car. Mid muffler is just rear of the cat. You can get an exhaust shop to weld a straight pipe in place of that.

Do a search. There's a thread with multiple youtube clips of different set ups and how they sound. Pick the one you want and do a search on it.

in your opinion, do you think i should remove the resonator too ? or should i just keep the resonator as it is and just remove the mid muffler and add on an axleback?

i heard by removing the resonator, it gives it a little rasp and thats not good, unless you like it, and it gives it a louder drone too, so the midmuffler should be alright if you dont want people thinking of you as rice, like i mean the tsudos are loud enough for me. pm if you interested, im selling mine for a good price.

^^^ dont listen to this guy dude he doesnt know jack, first off, the cat he is showing you is for a 3g tl which wouldnt fit ours, then if your going to pay that much, you mine as well buy ATLP, which is the best exhaust for our cars, stated by 100s of our members. and if you want no performance gains and a nice sound and keeping it pretty cheap, then go with the mid muff delete and tsudo. Tsudo mufflers will run you about 200 if your lucky to 320 if you wanna buy new, and the mid muffler delete at a muffler shop wont cost you more than 80, if its more then DONT go there, seriously 60 bucks should be your maximum offer on a mid muff delete, and thats only if your desparate

If youre gonna get tsudos eventually then just weld off the midmuffler and the resonator. If you were using stock mufflers and had midmuff and resonator delete then it would be raspy, but once you stick on tsudos, its perfect. Not raspy and its louder than just midmuff delete. This is the setup I have, and I love its great. Much louder than just midmuff delete.
Here's a link, not very clear cuz I should have held the camera lower.

now i added comptech axleback... n i tiny rasp at 3 grand again....but this time only when i flr it

Drone is like a constant hummm from your exhaust. Like when you accelerate up from 0 to 3k rpm, it has a constant exhaust sound. Some people like it, some don't. Even if you take off the resonator and midmuffler, drone isnt even that bad. The droning only stays constant when you on lower rpm. You can still listen to your music.

If you want it to be a nice loud, just straight pipe everything AFTER the cats and get some tsudos. Changing cats can fck with smog check and might be raspy.

Ok Phidboi, what do you want most out of your exhaust setup, loud (midmuff/resonator delete), moderate(middmuff delete), low (no delete)<---all with tsudos.
