Megan Header Install Question

Wasn’t able to find any specifics online as Megan discontinued making these. However, I am curious if I should reuse the OEM gaskets on my 00 TL? I know brands like DC just used the OEM and didn’t supply one to my understanding. Also curious if there are any other additional gaskets Megan supplied with the headers/flex pipe that I should pick up/be aware of. Thanks in advance.

Having trouble finding them online, anyone recommend a site to order the 2 1/4 compression gaskets?

2.25 in=57.15mm

Closest to 57.15mm is #17 on the link below?
Or search that part # to see if a local to you auto parts store has them in stock?

Checked a few local auto places and none of them had them in stock. Will wait if I have to and order from that site, but was curious if I could reuse whatever gaskets are on the stock j pipe?

I had to drop my exhaust to reseal my oil pan and re-used the gaskets. While it's probably not the best thing to do I don't notice any change in exhaust so I assume you're good to re-use them if they're in good shape. With that said I plan to replace them sooner than later.

Tried lining up the headers with the downpipe and it appears at each flange, all 3 bolts dont appear to want to line up 100% to where one bolt wont go through. Anyone else had this issue or is there a quick fix without cutting/welding the flange back on the downpipe?

If you have the headers already tightened to the exhaust heads, you may have to loosen them to get each flange to line-up with the downpipe.

IIRC'ly, when I installed my CT-Engineering CLS6 headers, back in the day, I followed the advice of the guy below:

Once '...all the bolts are in...', tighten the headers to the exhaust heads, then tighten bolts at the down pipes, then tighten A-pipe to the cat. Everything worked out great and there where no leaks. The fitment of the CT headers were spot-on once assembled, though. Not sure how the fitment is with Megans. You may have to play around (adjust) as you see fit to get them on with no leaks.
