99 tl header question

99 tl header question

any feedback on megan racing S S header? i found one for good price... but dont know nothing about the company.. friend had one on his type R said he liked it alot... any one tryed one on TL?

yes the megan headers fit......i had a set on my preious tls....they resonate like hell but after cutting out the first flex pipe and replacing it with a straight pipe.....it didnt resonate as much.....do a search on megan headers.....good luck

i've had mine on for half a year now. you'll definitely feel the increase in highend power buuuut i had some fitment issues where the downpipe would hit against the frame. Also, there have been numerous complaints about resonating issues.

I too have the megan headers and removed the first flex pipe. I've never had resonanting problems but than again I replaced the flex pipe the morning after the install.

plenty of people have been using them for a while. few people have problems with them. i've had cheap headers for over three years and fixed the resonance problem with some locktite and making sure every bolt was VERY right.

thanks for the info guys. will be looking in to headers once it gets a bit warmer... freaking snowing outside right now!!!

now do you still feel the power diference with a cheap header?

yes you will. all these headers are basically based off the same design. it's just the quality of the build that's different.

ok what do you guys think about a ciramic coated header , i am thinking about dc sport cause comtec is a bit expensive right now for me.. what are your thoughts guys?
